► Overview:
Tour leaving from Marrakech to the south of Morocco you will spend a night in the camp in the desert of Merzouga, and you will discover the road Paris Dakar rally, visit the palm grove of Zagora at the end of the circuit in Marrakech.
► Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait ben haddou – Dades gorges
Departure at 8:00 am from your hotel in Marrakech to the city of Ouarzazatte, crossing the magnificent landscapes of the High Atlas, passing through the Tizi n Tichka pass, which is the highest road pass in Morocco. We will visit the kasbah of Telouat and continue to the village Ait Ben haddou, here we will visit the famous kasbah calsse the UNESCO world heritage. After lunch we head towards Skoura, visit the Kasbah of Amridil and continue towards the “Valley of the Roses”, and we arrive at the Dades gorges where we will spend the night in a local hotel with dinner.
Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast we leave the Dades valley towards the Todra gorges where you will enjoy a walk near the river after lunch, we continue towards Erfoud via Tinjdad and Jorf. After a coffee break in Erfoud, we continue to the Merzouga desert, where we will stay in a desert hotel with dinner and breakfast.
Day 3: Exploring the dunes of Merzouga on the back of a camel
Today we explore the desert of Merzouga in a 4 × 4. We will visit the musicians of the village of Khamlia, we will visit a nomadic family in their tent. We return to Merzouga, from where we prepare for a camel ride to reach the camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. You enjoy the night in the middle of the sand dunes, while enjoying a delicious dinner and a Berber music show. overnight in berber tents at the camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Ramlia – Tafraout sidi Ali
In the morning, you will attend the sunrise in the dunes, after your breakfast we will return to Merzouga on the back of a camel. then we leave towards the dunes of Ramlia we will follow an old path of the caravans who come from the south of the Sahara, beautiful desert landscapes are admired, we will spend the night in a local hotel in the village of Tafraout sidi Ali.
Day 5: Tafraout sidi Ali – Zagora
We depart after your breakfast in Zagora along a beautiful desert road where we will see nomads who live in tents, raise goats and camels. We will spend the night in the palm grove of Zagora in a local hotel with dinner.
Day 6: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast and exploration of the Zagora palm grove, we drive to Agdz through the Draa valley, visit the Tamnougalt kasbah and continue to Ouarzazate to see the Taourirt kasbah and film studios before crossing the mountain from the top of the Atlas . We will arrive at the end of the day at your accommodation in Marrakech.
