► Overview:
5 days from Marrakech to the desert of Merzouga, tour from Marrakech to the dunes of Erg Chebbi Merzouga, you will spend two nights in the bivouac in the dunes of Merzouga, and you will return to Marrakech. Enjoy camel tek in the dunes and sunrise and sunset in the Sahara.
► Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Departure from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 am to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas mountains. Admire the beautiful Berber villages along this beautiful High Atlas route. Visit of the kasbah of Telouat and continuation to the famous kasbah of Ait ben haddou. After the guided tour and lunch, we will head to Ouarzazate, with a stop at the film studios and the Taouririt kasbah for photos, then we will go further south. towards the Dades valley through the Skoura palm grove, visit of Kasbah Amridil, from there, we continue to the Dades valley where we will spend the night in a local hotel with dinner.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, departure from your hotel in the Dades Valley, direction Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove and its old Jewish quarter. We continue towards the Todra gorges, free time for a walk through the canyons over 250 m high. Then you will go to the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga desert. You will have time for lunch on the way before reaching Erfoud. Then we will go to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. here you can admire the sunset on the back of a camel to reach the bivouac. Spend the night in the bivouac in the dunes under nomadic tents. Dinner and night at the camp.
Day 3: Exploring the dunes of Merzouga by camel
Today we are exploring the desert of Merzouga in a 4 × 4. We will visit the musicians of the village of Khamlia, we will visit a nomadic family in their tent. We return to Merzouga, from where we prepare a camel ride to reach your bivouac in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You enjoy the night in the middle of the sand dunes, while enjoying a delicious dinner and a Berber music show. night in berber tents at the camp.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Tazarine – Zagora
Early in the morning, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp, a camel trek to the village. We drive to Rissani, where we stop to visit the Mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif Alaoui, before continuing to the Draa Valley, passing through the magnificent landscapes, the Berber villages of Tazarine and Nkob. Continuation to Zagora through the Draa Valley. Accommodation and dinner in Zagora at a local hotel.
Day 5: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will drive to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley. We stop in Agdz to visit Kasbah Tamnougalt and continue to Ouarzazate. Lunch break in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Marrakech at the end of the day. We will drop you off at your hotel.
