► Overview:
3 days from Fez to Marrakech through the desert, This circuit allows you to explore the Middle Atlas mountains, passing to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you will spend a night in the bivouac in the sand dunes, then you will go to Marrakech through from the oases and kasbahs of the southeast. from Morocco.
► Itinerary:
Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga
Departure from your hebergenet in Fez at 08:00 to the desert of Merzouga. We will pass through Ifrane and Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. Continuation to Midelt where you will have lunch. In the afternoon, we will cross the Ziz valley with these gorges, then we will continue towards Errachidia. Later, the path continues to the Erg Chebbi dunes passing through Erfoud, where you can visit a fossil museum. After that, you will continue to Merzouga. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel ride to enjoy the sunset. You will continue camping for one night in a nomad tent. Dinner and accommodation in a camp in the middle of the dunes.
Day 2: Merzouga – Errisani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
After breakfast, we will drive from Merzouga to Rissani, Erfoud and Todra Gorge, where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Boumalen, then continue to the Dades gorges, where you will spend the night with the locals. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Dades Gorges – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
This morning after breakfast, we will leave for Ouarzazate via Kelaa Mgouna and Skoura, where you will visit Kasbah Amridil. Stop for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt and then another photo stop near the atlas film studios. After that, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the village. In the afternoon, we will go to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m altitude). Drop off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
