► Overview:
8 days from Casablanca to the desert, this circuit will take you from Casablanca to the great south of Morocco, you will visit the kasbahs and oases of southern Morocco, as well as the sand dunes in Merzouga. You will also visit the medina of Marrakech, Fez, Meknes, Chefchaouen, Rabat. the tour will end in Casablanca.
► Itinerary:
Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech
Departure from your accommodation to the city of Marrakech by the highway, explore the medina with a local guide, you will discover the historical sites of the medina, such as the palaces, the gardens, the Ben Youssef school. dinner and accommodation in riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait ben haddou – Dades Gorges
After your breakfast we will leave for the city of ouarzazate crossing the high atlas mountains, we will visit the kasbah of Telouat, then we will continue to the town of Ait ben haddou where we will visit the famous kasbah classified as world heritage by UNESCO, after breakfast we will visit the film studios and the Taouririte kasbah in the center of Ouarzazate, from there we continue towards the Skoura palm grove where we will visit the Amridil kasbah, and then we will continue towards the Dades gorges through the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at a local hotel in the gorges.
Day 3: Dades gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, our journey continues to the desert of Merzouga, we will pass through the Berber village of Boumalne, we will stop in Tinghir to explore the old Jewish village, then we will continue towards the Todra gorges, where you will enjoy a walk.After lunch we cross Tinjdad. and Jorf to get to Erfoud, where you will visit a fossil museum, then continue to the desert town of Merzouga, here your camel guide will take you back to the dunes of Erg chebbi. enjoy the sunset in the dunes, dinner and night in the camp.
Day 4: Merzouga
Enjoy a full day to discover the desert landscapes of Merzouga, you will visit the nomads in their tents, you will see a lake among the dunes, you will have fun listening to Gnawa music in the village of khamlia. Return to the bivouac on the back of a camel. Dinner and accommodation in your camp.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz vallee – Fez
We leave the dunes of Erg chebbi on the back of their camels after breakfast, then we will continue to Rissani here seen we will visit the mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif Alaoui, then we will take the direction of Fes passing through Errachidia and La vallee de Ziz, your lunch will be served in Midelt, in the afternoon we will drive through the cedar forest of Azrou and the city of Ifran to arrive at the end of the day to Fez, dinner and accommodation in a riad.
Day 6: Fez
After your breakfast, your local guide will take you to discover the cultural city of Fez, you will visit the old schools, the gate of the royal palace, the Jewish quarter … dinner and accommodation in your Riad.
Day 7: Fez – Meknes – Chefchaouen
After breakfast we leave for the city of Meknes to visit the big gate of the medina and the mausoleum of Molay Ismail, then we continue to Volubilis, from there we continue to Chefchaouen crossing the rif motagnes. Dinner and accommodation in Riad.
Day 8: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca
After breakfast, explore the medina and then we continue to Rabat, here you will visit Hassan Tower and Oudayas kasbah, then we will return to your accommodation in Casablanca.
