► Overview:
Tour that leaves from Marrakech to the city of Fez, we will visit the south of Morocco with these oases, kasbahs, Berber villages, sand dunes in Merzouga where you will spend two nights in the Sahara bivouac, then we will continue to Fez through the Ziz valley.
► Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Departure from your hotel in Marrakech at 8:00 am, we will go to the kasbah of Ait ben haddou through the High Atlas mountains (Tizi n Tichka 2260m), you will admire the Berber villages and the magnificent landscapes.
We will arrive at the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit of the kasbah with a local guide. After lunch, we continue to the Dades gorges through Ouarzazate, where we will visit the film studios and the Kasbah of Taouririt. and we go to Skoura here we will visit the kasbah of Amridil. Then we continue to Kelaat M’gouna, the city of roses, known for its fragrant roses and its annual festival in May. Then, we will continue to our hotel in the heart of the Dades gorges.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Tinghir and the Todra Valley, where you will see a panoramic view of the ancient Berber villages. Arrival at the spectacular Gorges of more than 250 m high, after the walk between the gorges We continue towards Erfoud and Rissani where we will have lunch before heading to the town of Merzouga, here you will be received with a glass of mint tea, before riding in camel, guided by an experienced camel guide, to explore the mysterious sand sea of the Erg-Chebbi dunes. You will spend the magical night in a traditional Berber nomad tent, dinner will be served around a bivouac campfire.
Day 3: Exploring the dunes of Merzouga by camel
Today we are exploring the desert of Merzouga in a 4 × 4. We will visit the musicians of the village of Khamlia, we will visit a nomadic family in their tent. We return to Merzouga, from where we prepare a camel ride to reach your bivouac in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fez
